An American law degree in Israel

    Hi, I live in NY and would like to go to Law school. My LSAT score is very low. I studied with Kaplan, but it wasn't very effective for me especialy since English is not my first language. I got only 144 and I'm planning to take it again in a few days. I'm a little scared cause I didn't study well enough (especialy since I have 2 babies). Is there a point takig it? Is there a program in NY for Israelis to study for the Lsat Also, does it matter in Israel where you went to school here? If I go to Touro or NY Law school in NY or even Queens college? I really want to do this. Are there any tips you can give me for choosing a school that is not top50. It's impoortant for me to know before I comitt to the high tuition. One last thing, What a good practice that would be beneficial in Israel? Commercial law?       Shalom Sara, No worries. The Lsat is difficult also for native speakers, and many people take this test more than once. In the US there is lots of importance to the specific law school one attends, but the good news is that in Israel you don' t have to worry. The typical Israeli law firm would glad to have you based on your experience in America, while the name of the particular institution you attend will not tell them much. So no worries, just try and do your best on the exam and god willing you will get succeed. Good luck!
